About Us

Farming is in the blood of Grass Creek Cattle Compa​ny.  Both John and Patty grew up on gen​erational family farms.  

John's family farm is a 6th generation farm that was established in 1838.  John learned to feed and care for the cattle through his Dad and Grandfather. 

Patty grew up just down the road from John's grandparent's farm on her own family farm where she grew up with cattle, chickens, and hogs. John was active in FFA growing up and Patty was an active 9 year 4H member showing cattle and hogs.  

 John and Patty started their own farm and went back to what they knew, raising cattle.  After a few years of raising cattle and selling quarters, halves, and wholes; Grass Creek Cattle was born out of demand and need.  The need for local and ethically raised beef with no hormones or antibiotics was huge. Grass Creek Cattle Company was started and is answering that call and filling that void.
